Feed The City Event a Success for the Third Year in Row

Valdosta's third Feed the City event fed more than 1,000 homeless and needy people in our community. Thanks to the more than
50 volunteers and sponsors who donated time, food and paper supplies to make this event successful. The event was held at four locations across the city, including LAMP, South Side Community Care House, One Stop and the old Valdosta High School.
I read the article and it’s really inspiring to see how the Feed the City event fed over 1,000 people with the help of volunteers and community donations. I remember one semester when I was stressed balancing my studies and writing a Nursing Dissertation help UK, and taking a day to volunteer at a local shelter reminded me how small actions can make a big difference. It made me think that helping others can be just as valuable as any assignment.
