What is Camp Out To End Homelessness?

Friday, April 25, 2025 | Valdosta State Intramural Sports Field (Behind Student Rec)

Give up your bed for one night to help those who don’t have one.

Every night, people in our community struggle to find a safe place to sleep. Camp Out to End Homelessness is a community event where participants give up the comfort of home for one night to stand in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness.

This event raises awareness and essential funds to support emergency shelter, housing, and support services for individuals and families in need.

By joining us, you are helping create a path to safety, stability, and hope for those who need it most.

What to Expect:

  • Stories of hope and resilience from individuals who have experienced homelessness and are now thriving.

  • Awareness activities to help you better understand the challenges faced by those without stable housing.

  • Community gathering for reflection, conversation, and connection with others who care about making a difference.

  • Camping out under the stars as a powerful symbol of solidarity with those who don’t have a safe place to call home.
