Each quarter, LAMP spotlights one of our community partners – meet The Rock Church. They have been a supporter of LAMP for the past few years. The Rock Church is a multigenerational, multiracial community of followers of Jesus Christ. Their vision is “Loving God, Sharing Life, Finding Hope.”
It is our desire to demonstrate the love of God in tangible ways that make a real difference in people’s lives. Serving the LAMP community is one way in which we become the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.
“This year we were honored to serve a Christmas meal and to make sure the residents, particularly the children, have a great Christmas,” stated Pastor Glen Starling.
We appreciate our church partners like The Rock Church. Our community partners are key to LAMP’s success. We look to local churches to provide close to 30% in monetary and in-kind donations to help with the annual operational budget.
