Lunch At LAMP
Since 1984, LAMP has worked to provide shelter, resources, and hope to individuals and families experiencing homelessness across South Georgia.
After the closure of the Valdosta Soup Kitchen, LAMP stepped in to ensure no one in the community would go without a hot meal. What began as an urgent response has grown into a vital daily program serving individuals with dignity and care.
Through Lunch at LAMP, volunteers, churches, civic groups, and local businesses come together to provide nourishment, compassion, and hope to neighbors in need.
Join us in continuing this mission of service and love.
What to Expect When You Volunteer!
Each day, LAMP serves between 100 to 150 individuals experiencing homelessness or food insecurity throughout our community. Through Lunch at LAMP, volunteers help ensure every person who walks through our doors receives a warm meal, compassion, and dignity.
