As we close another remarkable year, LAMP (Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, INC.) stands in awe of how far we’ve come—and with your help, how far we can still go.

For over 40 years, LAMP has been a beacon of hope for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness in South Georgia. Through every challenge, your compassion has fueled our mission to provide shelter, stability, and self-sufficiency for those in need.

This year, your gift means more than ever.

Because of the loss of several key grants, we’re relying on community supporters like you to keep life-changing programs like Street Outreach and our Emergency Shelter for Families with Children going strong through 2026. Every dollar ensures that no family is turned away when they need help most.   

Because of generous friends like you, LAMP has:

• Provided over 45,000 nights of shelter this year.

• Served over 50,000 meals through our Lunch at LAMP program.

• Launched our Youth Rapid Rehousing Program to help young adults (18–24) secure safe housing and independence faster.

• Partnered with Legacy Behavioral Health to bring on-site counseling and recovery services to residents.

  Cover 24 hours of meals, safe housing, and support services for someone rebuilding their life after a crisis.

  $270 – A Family’s Fresh Start (3 Days)
  Help parents and children find stability through meals, case management, and a safe place to call home.

  $630 – One Week of Stability and Hope
  Ensure seven days of nutritious meals, lodging, and personalized care for an individual transitioning out of homelessness.

  $2,700 – One Month of Family Support
  Provide an entire month of housing, meals, case management, and transportation for one family.

  $10,000+ – Growth and Healing for Families
  Invest in lasting change by funding dorm upgrades, new beds, and trauma-informed spaces that help families heal together.
