How can you be in solidarity with the homeless? Participate in Hunger and Homeless awareness month by taking the challenge! One night, 12 hours – that is what we’re asking of your time. Twelve hours to walk in someone else’s shoes and try to get a grasp of what another lifestyle might be like.

November marks Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month!
One night, 12 hours – that is what we’re asking of your time. Twelve hours to walk in someone else’s shoes and try to get a grasp of what another lifestyle might be like. We’re asking for one night of sleeping in a box, eating minimal food, going through a poverty simulation program that will show you the reality of a frustrating system. One challenging night of homelessness.
Homeless for a Night is primarily a fundraising event to support the lifesaving services Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc. provides men, women, and families experiencing homelessness. We are challenging every participant to raise at least $50, and we know you can do it!
