Any available time schedule will work!
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization. They constitute a very large part of LAMP's workforce and provide invaluable services to the clients. Please read through the volunteer position descriptions below. Remember you are doing both LAMP and your community a service so we will be glad to place you in the position of your choice.

LEILA ELLIS BUILDING (601 N. Lee St.) - This building houses the administrative offices and the Helpers Unlimited Program. It also serves as the initial point-of-contact for the clients.

Answer phones, greet clients, provide general information

Interview clients, assist with application, determine needs
- Stock Inventory Organizers
9:00am – 3:00pm
Organize food, clothes, furniture, lift 25lbs, stand and work

Provide data entry assistance, online database, training provided

LAMP's DAY CENTER (714 Charlton St.) - This center provides day services for the homeless clients in our community.
8:00am – 4:00pm
Answer phones, greet clients, provide general information

Assist with day-to-day operations, filing, proofing, projects

Tutoring, teaching, assessing

LAMP's SHELTER (714 Charlton St.) - This 24 hour facility provides safe, secure, and comfortable shelter for homeless men, women, and children.
9:00am – 3:00pm
Answer phones, greet clients, provide general information

Assist with day-to-day operations, filing, proofing, projects

Volunteers are needed in all capacities at all locations. The LAMP Campus is situated between Lee Street and Charlton Street near Downtown Valdosta. |
